Powder Monkey Group
Powder Monkey Group was created in 2023 to bring together several brewing and hospitality operations under one roof, creating a powerhouse of brands with grain to glass margins across a global landscape.
The Group has just acquired its second UK brewing and hospitality site. In Australia the Group has two production facilities, a hospitality offering and an additional site locked in for Q3 2025.
The Group is continuing with its growth strategy, with targets and opportunities identified in UK, APAC, US and Europe.
Group Executive Board
Mike McGeever
Initially Royal Navy and PLC director has owned businesses across the UK, the Middle East, the USA, France, Australia and New Zealand. He is a serial investor driven by anticipating needs and fulfilling them with solutions.
Andy Burdon
A drinks industry professional with a wealth of experience in management, brewing equipment, brand development and hospitality. Andy has a solid understanding of all disciplines within the business including production, sales, operations and finance. He is a member of the Institute of Brewing and Distilling and Fellow of the British Institute of Innkeeping.
Ben Twomey
Ben originally Coopers and Lybrand (PWC) then worked in corporate finance in London and Dubai, before setting up Southern Highlands Brewing Co in the Southern Highlands. Ben is the Powder Monkey Group’s head of operations in APAC.
